Family Event – Saturday 6th April, 2019

To coincide with the AGM, Christ Church Chemists’ Affinity Group is holding an afternoon of family fun in college on Saturday 6th April. In addition to a Harry Potter and Alice themed treasure hunt/quiz, Dr Ben Littlefield of Southampton University and Winchester Science Centre will give a family talk, with demonstrations, entitled “The Secret World of Gases".

The (Ch)3 AGM will follow in the Dumnett Lecture Theatre, Blue Boar, at 6pm.

Programme

12.30 - 2.30pm Registration at Tom Gate
12.30 - 2.30pm Masters Gardens available for bring-your-own picnics, croquet

(if wet we have the Bayne room booked)
2.30 - 4.00pm Harry Potter and Alice themed activities in Cathedral Gardens

Drawing/colouring available in the Bayne room.

In the event of bad weather there will be children’s activities in the Michael Dummett Exhibition Space, Blue Boar
4.00 – 5.00pm Tea in Michael Dummett Exhibition Space, Blue Boar
5.00 - 5.45pm Talk with demonstration: “The Secret World of Gases”, Dr Ben Littlefield, Head of Curiosity, Southampton University and Winchester Science Centre - Michael Dummett Lecture Theatre
5.45pm  Family event closes
6.00 – 6.30pm (Ch)3 AGM - Michael Dummett Lecture Theatre

Parking is available in Meadows from 12.30. Please go to the registration desk at Tom Gate on arrival.
